I was just in my 20's when introduced to Chuck and we remained friends for over 30 years. No matter where we were or what was going on in our lives, not more than a few weeks would ever go by without one of us checking in with the other. Chuck was a great communicator and he had a gift that allowed him to analyze people and circumstances almost instantly and express things in such a logical and insightful way that he was always quite persuasive and convincing. I learned so much from him and he is so much a part of who I am. He was always there when I needed help with whatever challenges life was throwing at me. We had so much fun and so many shared stories about business, travels, mutual acquaintances and life experiences that we never ran out of conversation. Chuck knows I love him like a brother. Muriel, Chuck always lit up at the mention of your name and I know you are his love and inspiration, and you always make me feel special too. I hope my words provide comfort to you in this time of grief.

I only knew Charles through his son and daughter in law and a few introductions over the past several years. Sometimes you can learn a lot about a man by the statements made of him by others. Also by the soulful significance you witness in those people following the passing of that man. It can certainly be said that Charles' life continues in the good name of his son and in the strength of his wife and two small children. - Elizabeth Walvoord

My Uncle was a brave and strong man. I have many memories of him and will keep those memories with me through this time of grief. Knowing he was surrounded with his loved ones the final days of his life assured me that my Uncle was at Peace. I will always remember my Uncle Charlie as my Uncle and my Mothers brother. My thoughts and prayers are with you Auntie Muriel, Neil & his family and Bonnie in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort (Uncle Charlie would want you to have) through this time of sorrow.
Love,
Roseann
