Clare Berg Obituary

Berg, Clare Carmelita (Reidy), born January 17, 1912 in San Francisco, CA. Loving wife of Dr. Eliot H. Berg; devoted mother of Erik and Suzanne (deceased); adoring grandmother of Lori, Craig, Troy and Kimberly. She was born and raised in San Francisco, CA. She was a graduate of St. Paul High School in San Francisco, CA. During World War II she was secretary to the Director of Civilian Defense, George W. Ososke, in San Francisco, CA. In 1946 she moved to New York City and became the Director of the Transcribing Services for the Port Authority of New York. She moved to Florida in 1959, having married Dr. Berg and subsequently moved to Ft. Lauderdale. The family will receive friends from Sunday, 7:00 – 10:00 PM at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held Monday, 1:00 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church located at 580 Indian Trace Weston, FL 33326. Cremation arrangements by T.M.
