Doris Popenoe Obituary

Doris 'Dori' Higgons Popenoe, loving wife, mother, artist and friend passed away peacefully on December 11, 2013. Dori is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Pete. Children Nancy, Jeff, and Gary, daughters-in-law Matisse and Mimi, son-in-law Larry, sister Ellie Fields and her daughters Lynn and Stacy, plus many others she touched in her life with love. Memorial Service Wednesday, December 18, 2013, 10:30 AM, St. Gregory's Episcopal Church, 100 NE Mizner Blvd., Boca Raton, FL, 33432, 561-395-8285. (Mizner Blvd. at Palmetto Park Road, south of Federal Hwy.) Reception to follow. Memorial Gifts in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Dori Popenoe Scholarship Fund, Boca Raton Chapter of the National League of American Pen Women, at P.O. Box 1105, Boca Raton, FL 33429.
