My deepest condolences to the family of this wonderful, kind, caring woman. I am so sorry that I just learned of dear Elaine's passing. She was my lifeline to my mother who resided at Soringtree Assisted Living which is where we met her when I was looking for a companion for my mother. I live in NY and I bless the day we found Elaine. She made sure mom was taken care of when I couldn't be there and eventually became a surrogate daughter to her. She also began calling me her little sister. Mom passed away almost 10 years ago, but I never missed seeing Elaine on my visits to Florida. We spoke several times a year and she always chastised me for spending money to send her birthday and Christmas gift cards to Publix so she could buy more of the bear claw ice cream she loved. It became a joke that we shared twice a year. I know how proud she was of all of you, her very special family.
