Elise Gilbert Obituary

Gilbert, Elise Suzanne, 34, Ft. Lauderdale passed away October 15, 2001. Survived by devoted husband, David (Becker) and cherished daughter, Melanie. Loving parents Warren and Marion Gilbert. Adoring sister to Evan (Rebeca) Gilbert and Adrienne (Brian) Auster. She was dearly loved by Stanley and Helen Becker and the rest of the Becker family. Elise was an Occupational Therapist at Nova Southeastern University, where she worked with Autistic children. Services Wednesday 11:45 at Star of David Memorial Chapel & Cemetery, 7701 Bailey Road, N. Lauderdale, FL 33068, 954-722-9000. Contributions can be made in her memory to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Last time I saw Elise it was right after the baby was born. She looked so happy, every inch of her was glowing. I remember later looking at pictures from that day with my Grandmother and both of us commenting on how beautiful Elise looked. That is the memory that will forever stay in my mind.
