Eugene Picinich Obituary

Picinich, Eugene, passed away on July 12, 2012. Born in Union City, NJ, on November 18, 1928 to Simon and Connie Picinich. He proudly served in the US Marine Corps 1946-1948 in China and the Island of Guam with the 1st Marine Division. He became employed by the US Post Office Dept. in 1948 and rose to the position of supervisor, serving 25 years and retiring in 1972. While working for the PO, he was also a licensed insurance and real estate agent in NJ and FL. He married Nancy in 1950. He leaves four children, Sandy Shea, Judy (Timothy) Hogan, Robert and Richard (Jennifer) Picinich; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren, whom he especially loved. He was a fine and loving man, who will truly be missed by all of his family.

Dear Dad,

Tomorrow will be one year that you left us. I miss you more than you'll ever know. The holidays and family get-togethers weren't the same without you.

I am sorry for the loss of Mr. Picinich. In the near future, his family will be able to welcome him back to a paradise here on earth. May this promise of everlasting life made by our loving Creator bring comfort and hope to the family during this time.
