Gail Stackman Obituary

Gail Sandra Stackman, age 77, passed away at home in Boca Raton, Florida on Monday, December 26, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. Gail was born on June 25, 1939 and raised in Utica, NY. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Howard (Howie) Stackman. Gail and Howie raised their two children, Shari and Scott (both surviving) in Great Neck, NY. Gail was dearly loved, and truly inspired and touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be sadly missed by her two children, Shari and Scott, son-in-law Justin, daughter-in-law Emily, four treasured grandchildren, Ryan, Jared, Nicole and Gabriella, her sister Elaine and her brother-in-law, Stuart. She has left a legacy of love, charity, and devotion to family and friends. Gail was an incredible supporter of the Challenged Athletes Foundation, and her impact for those she helped will be felt for a lifetime. The services will be held at Riverside Memorial Chapel in New York, NY on Wednesday, 12/28/16 at 10AM. Shiva will be held at the home of Scott and Emily Stackman in New York City. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gail's name to the Challenged Athletes Foundation.

I was saddened to learn of Gail's passing
We knew each other through playing golf at Boca West.
I will always remember her warm peronality & her friendship
