George A. Williamson

Williamson, George A., age 72, passed away on August 17, 2010. Born July 11, 1938 in Chattanooga, Tenn. to Malcolm R. Williamson Sr. and Mary M. Williamson and was one of three children raised in Waynesville, NC., and enjoyed spring, summer and fall at his homes in Waynesville, NC. He practiced and had his law office from 1968-2010. He served both in the House and Senate in the 1970's for the State of Florida. George also had a passion for his music which he expressed through the piano. He is survived by Ruth Morris and Sheila Bryant, Malcolm R. Williamson Jr., Stanley Williamson and Christopher Williamson. George leaves behind a legacy what will live on forever, his spirit and strength for Canace L. Black, Rachael Lee Black, Sascha A. Young, Jennifer A. Grupico and John Noah Oelkers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25th at Barbara Falowski Funeral Home, 300 SW 6th St. Fort Lauderdale. Funeral services will take place at the First Presbyterian Church at 401 SE 15th Ave., Fort Lauderdale at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 26th with Rev. Anderson officiating. George will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery, at 1300 SW 10th Ave. Fort Lauderdale.
