My journey started in 1965 working with Dr. Mackler. It was a wonderful experience of learning and laughter. Working with Dr. Mackler side by side and listening to the same jokes over and over required patience! I loved every minute of it! Dr. Mackler was the best dentist ever and I was so proud to be a member of his team.
Watching David, Susie, Lauren and Richard grow into caring, responsible adults is a true reflection of Lois and Dr. Mackler. My sincere sympathy to his family.

Rest in Peace, "Uncle" Mickey. As my dad's best friend, and great friend of our family's, for many years, he will be missed. He was also our family dentist, which made those visits actually fun! (in spite of the bad jokes :) I will also remember the boat rides when we were kids. But mostly, thank you, Mickey, for bringing your humor and good nature into our lives.

While I've intentionally tried to forget ‘most' of your jokes, I will never forget your kindness and your sense of family Mickey. Your hello to me was always ‘How are (my kids) Patrick and Rylie and how is (my wife) Kristin?' Those genuine sentiments, which I could count on like clockwork, spoke volumes to me of the man you were.
You are greatly missed Mickey but I am sure you are already trying out you jokes on a new audience as you continue your adventures elsewhere.

It was a wonderful opportunity to work with Dr. Mackler. We had a respected dental practice and we had many hours of fun! I admired his integrity and his skill. Linda and I were treated as members of the Mackler family. God bless you Dr. Mackler...(I never could call you anything but Doctor.)

Dear “Mickey-Dad” as you always said on your voice messages to myself and Richard, I will miss you so very much. You were always so kind, loving, caring and enthusiastic about life. I don't think I ever heard you say a bad word about anyone. I will miss hearing your voice and I will never forget you. I wasn't able to thank you for all the love and support you gave me and my father when my mother died in June but you were the one who understood the pain we were, and still are, going through. Now that you are no longer here, life is even sadder and more painful. Spotter, Smokey, Bonkers, Fluffy, Klaus, Georgie and Streudel will miss seeing you for dinner on the weekends but we will tell them you are watching them so they had better behave!
You were and are an inspiration to anyone who ever met you and your strong, unforgettable presence will always be with us. I love you and I will take care of Richard for you as you asked.
