JAMES JOHN STOODLEY

James John (Jim) Stoodley, 76, of Hollywood, FL; passed away on February 7, 2018. Jim is survived by his wife of 33 years Andrea M. (Dree) Stoodley, daughters, Cheryl (John) Peacock, Samantha (John) Vasko, Laura (Tommy) Samperi, Donna (Damon) O'Dell and Debra (Jeff) Matchen. Also survived 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Jim was a Long-time member, and 24 years as treasurer of Broward County Crime Stoppers; former Board member of Miramar/Pembroke Chamber; former member of Greater Dania Beach Chamber; former president of Hollywood Association of Life Underwriters; long-time president of South Broward Business Council; member of North Central Hollywood Civic Association and former Board member of Hollywood Hills Civic Association. On Friday, February 23rd, Jim will be laid to rest at 11:30 A.M. with Military Honors at South Florida Veteran's National Cemetery. The family will greet family and friends from 1:30 -2:30 P.M; followed by a Celebration of Jim's Life at 2:30 P.M. at Fred Hunters Hollywood Memorial Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Broward County Cancer Society or Season's Hospice.
