Joan Kerrigan Obituary

Joan M Kerrigan - Nov 11, 1934 - Dec 5, 2020

On Dec 5th, following the second anniversary of her son Kris' death, Joan Kerrigan passed peacefully into the Lord's arms while surrounded by her family. The eldest child of Dominic and Mary Fantaci, Joan was born in Queens, NY . Joan was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth and her son, Kris. Following Ken's passing in 2010, she refocused her attention on the Lord, her family and her church family. She was an active member at her church, Calvary Chapel, Pompano Beach. Joan is survived by her four children, daughter KIm Taylor (Kevin). Sons: Kurt, Kendall (Wendy) and Kevin (Dawnmarie). Her nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren and her brother James Fantaci (Gail). Joan leaves behind a legacy of church involvement and service, graciousness, kindness, elegance and sincerity. She was a dedicated Christian, wonderful wife, loving mother and the BEST Mimi! We will always remember her beautiful smile. Our loss is Heaven's gain.

Joan was an amazing person who gave her time and love to my first grade students, volunteering to help in reading groups at Saint Coleman School. Blessings to her family as they mourn her passing.
