In memory of Jack now and always

Mr. Donoghue, (Handsome Jack)
You will always be remembered and so loved by our entire family. You were an inspiration and fine role model to all of us as we were growing up. You were a great friend to my dad and always such a wonderful man to your wife and family. You will be missed by all that knew you, I can never remember you and your family not being with ours for every special occasion, including baptisms, weddings, birthdays, holidays, vacations and sadly, now funerals.
My parents always considered you both their dearest friends, I knew that I would always be able to count on you and Mrs. Donoghue if I ever needed any advice or help. Our kids loved to hear your stories, especially the football stories about Notre Dame, and I know we will always remember you fondly when we see the Fighting Irish run out onto the field.
I will remember the great times we had with our families as kids growing up together, if only we could have half the fun you had together with your friends for so many years.
Your friendship to my dad was very special. You had the best stories about my dad and always made us laugh ever time we heard them! You were such a good friend to come see him nearly every day until he was too weak to laugh and have that last beer with you. You stayed by his side, as a true and loyal friend would do. Thank you for all of the great times, we will never forget you, those memories are my most precious memories with you and your family. May you rest now in heaven, god bless you. Love, Patty Jordan
