John Fellows Obituary
Known to friends and family as Johnny, passed away peacefully in his home, March 27, 2012. Born in Los Angeles, CA, November 21, 1934. He served our Country and our Lord. He was a Retail Clerk Dept. Head for 23 yrs. and after retirement he loved playing the Banjo and working in his wood shop. He loved life and loved to laugh. He is survived by his wife, Violet Fellows; dog, Noni; son, Mark Fellows; daughter, Sandra Fellows; daughter and husband, Kelly and James Patterson; sisters, Audrey Baker Adams and Florine Bradley; 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren + 2 on the way, many nieces and nephews, and a lifetime of friends. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Services at Green Hills Mortuary, 27501 S. Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, Ca 90275. Viewing Monday, April 2, 2012, 3:00pm-8:00pm. Our hearts break to lose a father in law and grandpa. He will be so missed. So sorry we couldnt be there to say goodbye. He is in a better place than this world.

I had the privilege of meeting Johnny 2002 and played banjo with him. Arriving from New Zealand he took me under his wing and with Vi hosted me with the utmost kindness. He made a banjo stand for me which I use continually. A wonderful musician and companion, I remember Johnny with great fondness. Condolences Vi, love you. Banjo Jack.
