I just learned of John's passing while visiting my family. He was a great friend in high school and at FSU. We shared many good times and laughs together in his green Firebird. I will always remember his great sense of humor and very quick wit. John always had a comeback! I will miss you John. Thanks for being an important part of my high school memories. I am proud to know that you returned to teach at FLHS.

My memories of John are old, but strong. They all involve a smile and kind word from him. We went to school together all the way from Bayview through FLHS. Thank you, John, for your kindness. I can still feel it and am happy to learn that you shared your goodness with today's Flying L's. You will be missed and remembered.

Sorry to hear of John's passing. I lost touch with him when he left commercial real estate, but he was a solid guy and always a pleasure to be with. My condolences to Lib, Lea, and Steve.

Mr.G was one of the best teachers I've ever had. This is a very sad loss, the world could use a lot more people like John Ginestra jr. and schools all over could use more Mr.G's. FLHS will always miss you and never forget you Mr.G R.I.P

Rest In Peace Mr. G. You were the greatest teacher I ever had. The only one whose class I actually looked forward to, and actually learned something useful in. Math classes for students won't ever be the same without. Gonna miss you, just like everybody else.
