John Clifton Schandelmayer

Schandelmayer, John Clifton, of Delray Beach, passed away suddenly of a heart attack on February 7, 2009 at age 60. He was a graduate of Florida Atlantic University and a Senior Vice President of Primerica Financial Services. He is survived by his wife, Vickie Lovell Schandelmayer; son Jeremy; brother Charles; mother Ann Schandelmayer, and many devoted friends. His father, Clifton Schandelmayer is deceased. John was an athlete who died instantly while enjoying a sport he loved, surrounded by many friends who valiantly tried to save him. He breathed his last breath happy, and loving life. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be sent to the following charities in his name: Humanitarian Fund – Bahia National Center, 1233 Central Street, Evanston Illinois, 60201, Youth Program – Fort Lauderdale Garden Club, POB 4114, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33338, St. Joseph's Indian School – POB 100, Chamberlain, South Dakota, 57325. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 10:00AM-NOON at T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home, 7001 NW 4th Street, Plantation, Florida 33317, with Graveside Services and interment immediately following at Lauderdale Memorial Park Cemetery, 2001 SW 4th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33315.
