Karyn Lyons Johnson

Karyn Lyons Johnson died on Sunday, August 4th while being comforted by her niece Susan Leslierandal at the Hospice by the Sea. Mrs. Johnson, 65, originally from Brooklyn, NY, had bravely battled cancer for several years while continuing to teach at the Addison Mizner Elementary School, where she was loved and respected by her colleagues, her kindergarteners, and their parents. She is survived by her husband Greg, stepdaughter Cindy, stepson Jonathan, loving sister Joan, brothers Harvey and David, their spouses, children and grandchildren, as well as many cousins. The family suggests that donations to honor this devoted teacher may be sent to the Eric Wells Memorial Foundation (see website).
