Kurt Wallach Obituary

THE UNITED STATES HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL MUSEUM mourns the loss of Kurt L. Wallach, a Holocaust survivor born in Magdeburg, Germany, who was able to flee Nazism and come to the United States where he served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. A long-time friend, partner, and Museum Legacy of Light Society Guardian Founder, Kurt and his wife, Marilyn, were Museum Charter Members and early leaders in the effort to create the Museum and advance the cause of Holocaust education and remembrance for new generations. The Museum sends heartfelt condolences to his wife, Marilyn, their son, Mark, and Kurt's daughter, Laurie Billowitz (Aaron), five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
