Lisbeth Pearson Obituary

Lisbeth Pearson passed away peacefully in her home at The Woodlands of John Knox Village on 10/25/16 with her loving husband, Nels R. (Ray) Pearson by her side. Lisbeth was born in Sweden and is also survived by her son, Bjorn Petersson, his wife Helena, and four grandchildren, Matilda, Malou, Teodor, and Wilma, all living in the Stockholm area. Lisbeth received her Science of Nursing Degree from H.M. Queen Sophia Hospital (Sophiahemmet) in Stockholm and later became the head nurse of neurosurgery at the Karolinska Hospital. She came to Florida in the 1980's where she married her husband. Lisbeth retired as a nurse in the O.R. of Broward General Hospital. She loved to travel and took her husband to many exotic places in Europe, Africa, and Asia. Visitation will be held at 7 PM following by a memorial service at 8 PM on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 in the Auditorium of John Knox Village. She will then be interred in her hometown in Sweden. Donations in her memory may be made to NLUS, Fort Lauderdale Council, Attention US Naval Sea Cadets, PO Box 4385, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 33338 or The Woodlands of John Knox Village, 651 Village Drive, Pompano Beach, FL, 33060.
