It doesn't seem possible, but we have known Louie since 1962, when he started Kindergarten. That was the beginning of a wonderful friendship with Electra and Lou Bello (as well as with Louie and Stevie). Over the years, we didn't always see each other, but we stayed in touch as much as possible.
Knowing Electra and Lou as we do, you can see in Louie that he was raised in a strong and loving family. That's why, we believe, he was a loving husband, dedicated father, devoted son and a great friend. In other words, an all round good person willing to help anyone in need.
Louie ----we'll miss you!

Our Angel Lou was a great son, great husband, great father, a great brother, and friend to many. Who would know better what made him such a wonderful human being except his own mom and dad? He will live on with all of us.

Dear Leah,Lauren,Linda and families,
I pray that you find comfort and strength from your family, friends and faith during this very difficult time. Louie was so loved and respected by so many people and for so many different reasons. He was such a giver to anyone that needed him. I think what we will remember most about him is his devotion and the love that he had for his family and friends. Please know that we are here for you for anything.

We're very sorry for your loss, our hearts and prayers go out to you. Our lives were enriched just knowing Louie. He was a wonderful guy & great friend, and we be missed dearly. His infectious smile & good natured heart will be with us always. I really enjoyed talking baseball and auto racing with him. I'm proud to have had him as my friend.

Lou had a love of life like no other. He told me many times that life is a one-way trip and that we all need to make the most of it. Leah, Lauren and Linda will miss him fiercely, and all of us who knew him are better for the experience. I am blessed to have had his and Leah's friendship 22 years and I will always remember the laughter! Goodbye, dear friend!

We share in the deep loss of Louie
and send our thoughts, prayers, and sympathy to each one of you. Our families have been more than friends since the late 60s and Driftwood Little League days. We were so blessed to know Louie and to enjoy his sense of humor and his caring and values. He had a way of making everyone feel special.

Leah, Lauren and Linda,
Lou was a man to be proud of. I have only known him a couple of years, but, what I know about him is that he loved his family and he lived for his family. Now, as someone else said, we need to live to keep his spirit alive. He dedicated many hours to the CCHS Sound of Pride and that is something to be exremely proud of.

To the Bello family-although I did not know Luis personnally I have known his brother Steve for several months thru work and have had the pleasure of learning what a wonderful relationship these two brothers had. There are no words to express loosing a dad, brother, son, and husband so suddenly. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. May you find peace in the coming months.

Our thoughts and prayers are extended to the entire Bello family as we grieve Louie's passing.
The bond between Louie and Steve was an incredible link between brothers. I'm sure he passed along that quality of connection, with Leah's mutual guidance, to his daughters, Lauren and Linda.

Lou and I shared baptisms, weddings, and funerals (he was a man of faith). We also shared hamburgers at Royal Castle, record albums, and great times with each other's families. I feel lucky to call him my best friend and I feel fortunate to know his and Leah's families and friends. We will now put our energy into keeping his vibrant spirit alive and into helping his family.
