Marie S. Woods

Woods, Marie S., age 88, of Boynton Beach, FL, passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday March 27, 2005. Mrs. Woods was a Boca pioneer coming to Boca Raton with her late husband Jack in 1956. She was a founding member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. She enjoyed a full and active life. Mrs. Woods was predeceased by two husbands, Michael Caffrey and John J. (Jack) Woods. She is survived by her sister Doris Wunderlich, daughter Maureen Caffrey Workman (Tom), sons Chip Woods (Kathy) and Marc Woods (Anne), grandchildren Michael and Tammy Workman, Summer Federer, Chip Woods, John Woods, stepgrandsons Matthew & Mark Behm and 2 great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Wednesday March 30, at Babione Funeral Home, 1100 N. Federal Hwy., Boca Raton, 561-395-8787. Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday, March 31 at 11:00 AM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Boca Raton. Entombment will follow at Boca Raton Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers donations in Mrs. Woods' name may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, Boca Pioneer Club or the FAU National Alumni Center.
