While I heard about Mark's passing, for some reason I just received this legacy request. I remember Mark fondly from both Elementary School and from years at St. Andrews. Mark was always kind and had a great sense of humor. He represented Mercer Wenzel well. Sad to see so many of my generation slipping away. RIP Mark!

Dear Chris and Family:
We are all deeply saddened by the early passing of Mark - he was always the most kind and gentle of men and a pleasure to have in any company. I knew him from tennis, early on as I brought our family to Delray Beach, in the 1980´s. I enjoyed playing tennis with Mark and a like cadre of friends at the old Delray Beach Tennis Center, downtown.
The relationship continued through tennis and that association of friends, well into the late 2018´s - when he found an apartment for our daughter, close to several investment units he owned. Mark was always respected for and being a gentleman, on the court and all walks of life.
My wife most enjoyed at one of the iconic/classic department stores in SoFL.
With kindest personal regards,
Evan, Sue and Kate Morris

Both myself and my son Dillon considered my cousin Mark not just a family member, but also a friend. Mark was one of those rare people who never had a bad word to say about anyone and who always had a "Hello, how are you" for everyone he saw, even complete strangers. He always treated people, all people, like they mattered and were worth something. Maybe they were alone, as he often was, and that "hello" would be the high point of their day. If he saw someone in need, he would try to help. Even though we were no longer neighbors, we still spoke almost weekly, and it came through how much family meant to him, especially his siblings, and he was always trying to come up with ways for them to be closer. Mark was the kind of person who people don't appreciate until he is gone, and I know members of his church, his tennis partners, co-workers at Mercer Wenzel, and folks around his condo at the Delray Racquet Club will miss him very much and wish they had gotten to know him even better. He wasn't your typical human and was very much worth getting to know, and I am glad I did.
