Mark Yoder Obituary

Yoder Yoder, Mark Alan June 15, 1960 - September 26, 2011 Mark went to Heaven Monday surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Orlando, FL, was a member of Calvary Chapel in Fort Lauderdale, FL and a 17 year employee of Florida Power & Light. He described marrying his teenage sweetheart Glenda Kemp more than 30 years ago and the births of his two children Lauren and Mark Jr. as his greatest moments. Mark was preceded in death by his father Loren Yoder and his brother Jerry Yoder. He is survived by his wife Glenda, his children Lauren and Mark Jr. , his mother Clara Yoder, of Davie Florida, and his siblings and their spouses, Dennis and Val Yoder of Bremen, Indiana, Gail and Keith Hardy of Bremen, Indiana, Ed and Noemi Yoder of Pierson, Florida, Bonnie and David Knowles of Cooper City, Florida, Shirley and Kenny Miller of Bremen, Indiana, Timothy and Laurie Yoder of Sunrise, Florida, and David and Jane Yoder of Bremen, Indiana. Reflecting on his life, family and friends remember him as a faithful servant of God, a loyal husband, a devoted father, a Miami sports fanatic, and a first class prankster whose laugh could light up an entire room. As one of nine children, the uncle to more than 40 nieces and nephews, and the friend to hundreds, Mark leaves behind a legacy of faith and fatherhood desired by all. Memorial services will be held at Calvary Chapel Plantation 11801 W Broward Blvd, Plantation FL 33325 on Thursday, September 29th 2011 at 12:30pm with visitation starting at 11:30am. I met Mark when I was working in Courtly Manor mobile home park. He was a loving husband, caring father and a very funny and handsome young man. I worked in the sales department where Glenda, his wife worked as the bookkeeper. We both got alone very well. I just found out about Mark's death today, and I am deeply sorry that he went to heaven so young. If you are reading this Glenda, my deepest sympathy and sorrow goes to you from the bottom of my heart. I know how much you loved him.
