Mr. Dzoba was a outstanding Teacher! when I heard the news i was very sad ! he was the one of kindest people i had ever met! when i was in 8th grade (00-01) my flute had been stolen and there was no way to find it, i could not afford to get a new one,mr. Dzoba gave me one of his own flutes. I still have the flute and now every time I see it I will remeber what a grate guy he was .

I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Dzobas death. Mr. Dzoba came to my elementary school when I was just a little girl and taught me how to play flute to get me ready for the middle school band in the early 70s. Ironically, I heard about his death tonight at an orchestra rehearsal ... I am still playing flute today. He was a major influence in my musical life and I shall never forget him and all he taught me. May he rest in peace and may God bless his family.

Mr. Dzoba was a tremendous music teacher. I still have many close friends from those middle school years in band together at Seminole Middle in the 1970s. I have frequently thought of Mr. Dzoba as I now watch my own daughter practice her clarinet for middle school band. He was a mentor to many generations and I wish his family well during this difficult time.

When R.J. told me the news i couldn't believe it. Mr. Dzoba taught me so much more than music. How can i sum it all up? He showed me that music is more than notes written on a piece of paper; just like in life it is about the feeling not the presentation. My thoughts are with his family.

Mr. Dzoba was not only a great music teacher but a kind and generous person. During her three years at Seminole Middle, my daughter Nicole was very lucky to have such a caring band teacher. He always tried his very best to make her a better clarinet player. Thanks Mr. Dzoba for being such an influential person in my daughter's life. Nicole and the Crespo family will always keep your love in our hearts. God bless the Dzoba family! (Nicole will never forget you.)

Mr.Dzoba was like a second dad to me. He was very loving to his family and friends. I know his spirits will always be with with us. After being with Katie and her family these past few days it made me feel like I was a part of the family. Lastly I would just like you to know that my family and I especially are here for you if you need anything. My love is here for all of the Dzoba family. I LOVE YOU KATIE.

I first met Mike back in the seventies when we were both young band directors trying to get a handle on this business of education. Through the years he was always consistently pleasant whenever we spent time together at meetings, parades, festivals and such. Mike was clearly a man who did get a handle on this wonderful business of music education. His caring ways just made it all happen in a way that was good for kids and brought honor to our profession. I will miss him.

I graduated Seminole Middle in 1992. I had band with Mr. Dzoba 6th, 7th and 8th grade. He is responsible for my love for music and for helping me learn to play trumpet and bass, which I still play today. He used to meet us an hour before school so we could practice and learn with him.
My regards go to his family, friends, and to everyone who has shared his love for music.

I sign this book with much sadness. Mr.Dzoba was a tremendous positive influence for my daughter Melissa Kruszewski through out her 3 years at Seminole Middle School. May God bless and keep the Dzoba family at this difficult time.

A great man who will be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with Mr. Dzoba's family.
No other teacher cared more for his students and no other teacher will be as deeply loved.
