Mitchell Cantor Obituary

Boca Raton- Mitchell Doshin Cantor of New York and Florida passed away Christmas Day 2021. He was the loving husband of Frances Cantor and the late Carol Cantor. He was the father of Ileen, Susan, Paul, and Jaya.

He graduated from Tufts University and was an exceptionally loved periodontist. Mitchell began Zen studies in 1978 and became a respected Zen Sensei (teacher) in the White Plum lineage. In 1995 he founded the Southern Palm Zen Group and The Prison Outreach Project which brought meditation practices into the Florida Prison System to help inmates find their inner freedom. He devoted his life to helping others. Mitchell had a passion for photography. You can view his exceptional work on online at: ListeningWithTheEye.com.
