I have been thinking of you all week not realizing it was the anniversary of your passing....I played your favorite Paul Simon song and thought about all the wonderful times we had together so many years ago. Your memories can never be erased from my heart and I will forever cherish them......I still miss your beautiful smile...

I was deeply shocked to hear of Paul's passing from Jeff Frauenheim. He and I were great friends at Canisius High and as Jeff pointed out, members of the Four Flushers. Paul was the best man at my wedding and very close to me. When I was going through my divorce in 1976, and was doing an assignment in Miami for Gulf Oil, Paul was very supportive and really helped me through it. After that I moved to Houston and then to Denver where I married Sally 39 years ago, and Paul and I lost touch. He was a special person and I am sorry we never got back together and I never got to meet you, Gloria and you and Paul never got to meet Sally. I am so gratified to hear about his activities and how active he was. He got into a lot of new things like photography, biking and running marathons since I last saw him. Gloria, you sound like an ideal partner for him and he was so lucky to have you and his children in his life. God Bless you all.

To the Stuart Family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Just recently heard of Paul's passing.
Paul was like a brother, sometimes like a father, to me. We were best buddies through high school, at Canisius, and at college, at Georgetown. After that, Paul went to Florida and I moved to Texas. So we heard little of each other after that.
Still, I can remember Paul with great memories during those early years. We ran with the same crowd in high school, the 'Four Flushers', Ty Smith, Tony Adamski, Dan Mullan, Dick Arcara and Jim Privateer.
In college, we were the 'Terrible Six' of Jim Carrino, John Kraljic, Kevin McGrath and Peter DeLamos. Paul and I were roommates in senior year, off-campus on Glebe Road apartments. In each other's weddings.
Paul was always helpful, humorous and a best friend. Met his folks and Dennis at his house in Buffalo. He enchanted my five younger sisters, who remember him as 'tall, dark and handsome' when he'd come to our house.
I am so happy to hear that Paul enjoyed life in his work, in his travels and in his accomplishments (marathons), but mostly because he had you in his life.

Paul was my friend and attorney for many years. He had the most engaging smile of anyone I've ever known and was so full of life. We spent many good times together and even though we had lost touch over the years I still thought of him often...so sorry to hear he is gone.

I went to Georgetown U. with Paul back in the 1960's. We had wonderful memories from that time thru our last luncheon in 2015. His humor, laugh, and smiles will never die. He was a great guy. Thank you, Paul. My prayers are with Gloria and his family.

I have known Paul most of my life. He was like a father to me growing up in Coconut Creek and when I was married he was the best man in my wedding. Some of my fondest memories of Paul were waiting for him to get home from work to shoot baskets as a boy, hanging christmas tree lights on his house, running many races together, Yosemite Sam, Bobby Rubenos, traveling in Europe and Glorias awesome cooking! Thank you for the memories my dear friend! Love DJ
