Gino was a wonderful agent. He was also very helpful, in a quiet and unassuming way, with the newer and crankier agents on our squad! I learned a lot from watching him. Rick and I still think of him. May God continue to bless Susan and the family. Always in our thoughts, Rick and Teresa Melendez

I worked for Gino in the JTTF in Miami. He was the best boss I had in 25 years of working as a Fed. He let the agents do their job and always gave encouragement and guidance when needed. My condolences to the family of this great man.

Richard was my first cousin and we grew up together. He was a little older and lived close by. Every year we played neighborhood baseball in the summer, basketball in the fall, hockey in the winter, and football in the spring. Sports was always important to Richard and he excelled in any venue. We were alter boys together, and in high school worked construction in summers shoveling 6 tons of asphalt a day into a berm curb machine...kept us in shape for sure. We separated after college, went our own ways and only met up once again in 1975 at my home in California. The news of his passing was a shock to me and I am not yet able to accept that he is gone. He was a great friend during my first 20 years and I have so many fond thoughts of the many things we did together. God bless you my friend until we meet again.

Richard was my cousin and though I saw him only rarely (memories of him chasing Barbara and Eleanor and me around the Nutile green houses as kids sticks in my mind) he was family and I know everyone will miss him dearly. His life made a positive impact and I am proud to be related.

I was saddened to hear of Gino's passing. I had the honor of working with Gino in the Miami(FBI) office, and I can honestly say that he was cut from a different cloth. I remember passing him in the halls and he would greet me with, "Hey kid, how you doing?" Gino was the most decent and kindest person, and treated everyone with respect. My deepest sympathy to his family.

I am so very thankful and grateful to have worked with Gino over the past 10 years at The Florida Bar. We continue to grieve with heavy hearts at the loss of such a special person and important member of our Florida Bar Family. Gino was great investigator. Professionally, he was second to none; but more importantly, Gino was a tremendous father, husband, colleague and friend. Gino, I will miss our daily interactions: sharing life stories with laughter and a smile and our chats about golf and sports. I always looked up to Gino as an important role model and mentor in my life. Rest in Peace Gino, you will always be with us in our hearts and memories.

I was so saddened to hear about Gino's passing. I would like to express my sincere condolences to his family. I am so sorry for your loss. As a fellow FBI Supervisor for nine years, I often confided in Gino for guidance and assistance in many of the violent crime investigations handled by my squad. Never once was I turned away when I was looking either for direction or manpower help. Always the gentlemen. I feel very lucky to have called him a friend and mentor.

I am in a state of shock over the terrible news of Gino's passing. I worked with Gino at The Florida Bar for the past seven years. I could always count on him to get the job done in an exemplary fashion being capable of getting to the heart of any matter using his intelligence and extremely pleasant way. People wanted to talk with him and that was an invaluable tool of investigation. I loved talking to him about any case and his life experiences. I am so heartbroken that I will not get to see his smiling face each day. The office will not be the same without him. I wish to convey my heartfelt condolences to his family. I am so sorry.
