I just saw this notice. I knew Rickie a long time ago as a good friend. My brother always considered Rickie a close friend. He is one of the people you meet in life that you are glad you go to know. His sister Connie was a classmate of mine. I always admired their family. Both Rickie and Connie were so talented in their fields of passion. Connie had a passion for horses, Rickie had a passion for exploring life with the talents he was so good at. A person you wanted to know because he would tell you how it was s a freind.

Dear Laura and family:
My deepest sympathies are with you during this sad time.

Laura, my heart breaks for you and Rick as you deal with his death. You both approached this very formidable illness with hope and dignity and humor and confidence.
I remember you telling me you two had never felt closer. It is so sad it didn't work out the way you both had envisioned.

Dear Albright Family,

I wanted to express to you how sorry I was to hear of Rick's passing. I knew Rick during my time at LSU (1986-1990). I am a proud DKE, much like Rick, and we became friends during my years at LSU. Like others have stated on this site, Rick did have a HEART OF GOLD. He wanted to help in times of crisis for his friends as well as those he knew little about. I will remember him fondly and I hope that in the coming months that God will give you all strength in your times of need.

God bless you all and thanks for letting Rick be part of my fond memories of LSU and Delta Kappa Epsilon.

Sincrely,

Anthony Carmody

Rick will always be one of my best friends.

He could make you laugh when you wanted to cry.

And he was there when you needed him.

Most of all he gave me that ridiculous nickname...

God Bless him...

My prayers are with you all.

I was heartbroken to learn that Rick is gone. He was the best boss that I ever had. He loved to joke, but he had a heart of gold. If you ever needed anything you could count on Rick. I am at a loss for words. May God Bless each of you Laura, Allison, Trey and Preston.

To The Albright Family:
To say we just saw Mr. Rick July 2 and he was smiling and waving at us as he came in. Just remember that we are here for you whenever you need us. You will always be in our thoughts and prayers.

To Rick's Family:
Rick was a friend since law school. He was always ready with a joke or to cut up to make others laugh, but he also had a good mind for addressing serious issues. It was always a pleasure to run into him. Although I had not seen him in many years, I am saddened by our loss.
