Dear Mr and Mrs Castor, Todd, his wife and children,
My prayers are with you during this very difficult time. I am so sorry for your loss. There are no words to express how saddened I was to hear of his tragic accident.
I spoke with him during the holidays and was looking forward to getting together to catch up when I came down to Fl.
I did have the pleasure of knowing this funny, handsome, great guy frm our years at Pope. I can only imagine the wonderful man he became since then and I know his presence will be missed by all the hearts he has touched.

Of course you know how I feel. Words hardly ever fail me, but somehow they seem sadly inadequate now. This is an unthinkable loss for a parent, a brother, and for a child, and yet the sorrow is yours to bear, my dearest sister Becky and brother-in-law Herb, my kind and sensitive nephew Todd, and Rob's wonderful children Alyssa, Josh, and Trey. We all loved, and continue to love him. Our shared grief will only be matched by our shared love, and that is what we will have to cling to in the days, weeks, months, and years ahead.
We'll be there for each other, and that is how we will honor Rob. All my love,

To the Castor Family,
I am honored to be a part of such a wonderful, loving family. Words can not express how sorry I am for the tragic loss of Rob, a very special son, father and to me, cousin. I have many fond memories running through my mind of times spent with Rob and the family. A huge hole will be left without Rob's booming laugh and presence. I am constantly thinking about all of you and hope that you will find some comfort in the wonderful memories and love Rob gave us.

Although I haven't known Rob for long, I know enough to say that I will miss him and share the loss of his passing from now on. He could brighten even the darkest days with his words of praise and encouragement. I wish I could return blessings of his reassurances to his children, his brother, his parents, and to the hundreds of people that will forever miss the warmth of his love. Our hearts are heavy and our minds are prayer-filled for you all at this difficult time. We will cherish our memories of Rob forever. I want to thank you Mr. and Mrs. Castor for always making feel welcome in your home and for giving me a great foundation and love for sports. Rob and I had great times together on and off the field. It is amazing how my boys and Robs boys met eachother and played the same sport we did, and to see you there cheering them on the way you did for us was awesome. Mr. C I look forward to seeing your old scorebooks.
