Robert M. Lane

Lane Lane, Robert M., a Boca Raton and Stockbridge resident, died Monday, October 22. He was 86 years old. Lane, who was born in Durham, NC on September 16, 1921, served in the United States Army during World War II. At the time of his death, he was retired from his work as co-owner of Life Plastics, Inc, Brooklyn, NY. Lane was preceded in death by his parents, M.O. and Blanch Knowles Lane; sisters, Mary Alice King, Edith Kaiser; and brother, J.C. Lane all of North Carolina. Lane is survived by his wife of 62 years, Florence Bloch Lane; daughters, Naomi Lane Perkins and son-in-law, Rex Perkins, of East Granby, CT, and Deborah Lane Murtha of New York, NY; sister, Anne McCowan of North Carolina; six grandchildren, Robert Brenner, Amy-Lisbeth Brenner Newton, Joseph Ian Brenner, Jonathan Brenner; and their father, Joseph Brenner, all of Connecticut, Jennifer Murtha and Caitlin Murtha of New York; two great-grandchildren, Mariah Brenner and Christopher Newton. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial to be held in Stockbridge, MA.
