Rosalind Fishman Obituary

Fishman, Rosalind of Tamarc, FL passed away on September 16, 2011 just shy of her 85th birthday, after a very long and courageous battle with cancer. Rosalind was born October 5, 1926 to Bessie and Moe Katz. Rosalind came to Florida with her family in 1971 from Brooklyn, NY. She is survived by her beloved husband Barney, who would have been married 65 years on October 6, 2011. Daughter Stephanie (Michael) of Coconut Creek; Granddaughter Bonni (Evan) and three great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Hadleigh and Jeffrey of Basking Ridge, NJ; and brother Wallace Katz of Staten Island, NY. Rosalind was a very loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother/great-grandmother with a dynamic personality who touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. She will be missed very much. A funeral service will be held at the Star of David 7701 Bailey Road N. Lauderdale at 1:45 p.m. on Sunday Sept. 18, 2011. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice by the Sea in Boca Raton, FL.

You will truly be missed. Although I only knew you for about 16 years, I feel I knew you my whole life. I will always remember all the good times we had as a family. Your spirit will live on and our children will never forget you as will I. Evan and family
