Ross Clark Obituary

Boynton Beach - We deeply mourn the loss of Dr. Ross Nevin Clark, a respected physician, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and a cherished friend. Ross was born in Los Angeles, CA, on September 23, 1942, and he passed away peacefully on July 19, 2023.

Ross spent over five decades in South Florida, touching countless lives through his unwavering dedication to medicine. He was known for his professional expertise, surgical skill, compassionate care, and his genuine connection with patients and colleagues alike.

Ross shared an inspiring and loving journey of 52 years with his devoted wife, Candy. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Brian and Lesley. He was a cherished grandfather to seven grandchildren, each one holding a special place in his heart.

His sharp intellect, and subtle, understated sense of humor brought light to every gathering. Ross was also an avid reader, enjoying a wide variety of books from science fiction to thrillers. He also had a wide variety of other interests including Japanese art, antique rugs and fine wine among others, and he greatly enjoyed imparting his wisdom on these subjects to friends and family.

An enthusiastic skier, scuba diver and tennis player and more recently pickleball lover, Ross enjoyed his weekly games on the court with friends. His adventurous spirit led him to travel the world, with Africa, Southeast Asia, and Iceland among his favorite destinations. Ross was an outdoorsman at heart, finding great joy in summers spent in the Berkshires and activities like kayaking.

Ross is survived by his wife, Candy; his children, Lesley and her husband Martin, Brian and his wife Nicole; his sister, Shelley; and his seven beloved grandchildren, Jake, Jordan, Jenna, Zachary, Samantha, Ava and Stella. He also leaves behind a legacy of love, respect, and countless warm memories among his numerous friends and relatives.

Ross will be greatly missed, but his spirit lives on through his family, his friends, and all the lives he has touched throughout his life.
