Seymour Fitzig Obituary

Fitzig, Seymour H., 90, served in both Europe and the Pacific in World War II, He returned to work in the paint business, first as a salesman and later owning the Paterson Paint Co. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernhard and Gussie Glassberg Fitzig and his brother, Max Fitzig. He is survived by his sisters, Miriam (Al) Friedman and Dorothy (Lou) Stabiner, son Sandy (Elly) Fitzig, daughters Jane Forshee, Lisa Fitzig (Harry Apfel), Andrea (Irwin) Benenson, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be buried in Beth Isreal Memoral Park in Woodbridge, New Jersey, January 9, 2011 at 11am. Contributions can be made to Congregation Emanuel Library Fund, 7011 E. Central, Wichita, KS 67206.
