Sonia Stair

Stair Stair, Sonia Jane , 83, passed away September 1, 2012, with her family by her side in Boca Raton, Florida. She was born to the late Dr. Peter and Mrs. Genevieve Vladeff February 21, 1929 in Mount Clemens, Michigan. She graduated with a bachelor?s degree of Fine Arts from Texas State College for Women in Denton, TX. She married the late Honorable Judge Hunter D. Stair in 1965. Sonia was a generous, kind, brave and trusted friend to everyone she met. Her passions included traveling the world, decorating, painting, crafting, collecting, eating gourmet food and shopping. She really enriched many lives with her wisdom, elegance and creativity. She most enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends laughing and retelling her life experiences. She is survived by her five children, Phillip Stair, Flint Michigan, Adele Stair, Brattleboro VT, Peter Stair, Oakland, CA, Shelly Stair, Phoenix, AZ and Shawn Kelley of Brooklyn, New York and her 11 grandchildren. At her request there will be no service.
