Stephanie A. Alek

Stephanie Alek, 100, of Boca Raton, FL, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on March 11, 2014. She was born in Hempstead, NY, May 8, 1913 to Joseph and Josephine Monkiewich. Stephanie was a self-made entrepreneur in real estate and business ownership. She was an avid golfer, very active in the Republican Party and passionate about cooking, sewing and gardening. She was survived by her two grandchildren, Gina Dondona and Annie Yuzzi and Nieces/Nephews Nancy Petrosky, Cathy Pierce, Margaret Potorski and Patrick McGowan. Donations may be make in memory of Stephanie to Ascension Catholic Church, 7250 N. Federal Hwy, Boca Raton, FL 33487.
