Stephen Baldwin Obituary

Baldwin, Stephen Mark, Sr., 55, of Delray Beach, FL, successful businessman, entrepreneur, and the consumate salesman, passed away on Wednesday, October 4th, 2006 peacefully in his sleep. Mr. Baldwin was born and raised on a farm in Blanchard, Michigan. He served in both the Air Force and Army. One of his generous gifts helped establish the Harold S. Gazan Scholarship Fund at Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He was an exotic car collector and raced offshore powerboats in 1989 and 1990 taking second place in the Trump World Championship in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Stephen was passionately in love with his wife and children. Celebrating his life are his wife, Nazanin; his daughter, Tiffany Nicole; his three sons, Stephen Mark, Jr., Thomas James, and Mathew Robert; his mother, Patricia Bennett; a half sister, Kathy Ellick; his cousin, Brian McCafferty; his brother-in-law, Kambiz Vafai; his two nephews, Qmars and Keyian; and his uncle and aunt, Peter and Lillian McCafferty; and a host of friends in both his business life and his personal life who will miss his wit and wisdom. Stephen Baldwin was my mentor in life. I began working for him when I was 18. He treated me like a son. He gave me a job with his software company after college. I am who I am because of Steve Baldwin. After I met him my life changed forever. He was an inspiration. He will truly be missed.

Steve Baldwin was my mentor and my inspiration in life. I began cutting his lawn and washing his cars at age 16. He took me under his wing and taught me about how the business world works. After college he asked me to work for his company and the learning began. If you ever met Steve Baldwin, you would always remember him, he was unforgettable. He treated me like a son. Fast forward 20 years and he sold me part of his company in 2003 which I still own today. I am who I am today because of what I learned from him. I don't know where I would be in life today if it weren't for Steve. I have so much to thank him for. I guess I wish I had just one more day, one more dinner, one more conversation to spend with him. He is still missed every day.

Dear Nazy:

What a shock to come across this terrible news. My thoughts and best wishes go out to you and your family. I had very much hoped to be able to at least deliver a message from you to the rest of our classmates for our 30th reunion ( I believe that I sent a note recently, before I heard of this tragic loss )next month.
I hope that we will be able to speak within the next few weeks, at your convenience.
Yours,
Mark

Dearest Nazy, Tiffany, Stephen, Thomas and Mathew

Those we love are never really lost to us
We feel them in so many different ways
Through quiet moments, smiles and dreams they left behind
It'll be the memory of these things that help to push the pain away and bring back the smile again.

With much love and heartfelt sympathy.
