Stevens Weiss Obituary

Weiss, Stevens H., Esq., of Coral Springs passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, on Wednesday, June 25, 2008. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends. Stevens was 83 years young; he was active and currently engaged in all aspects of his work, taking care of business until the very end. He was a graduate of Swarthmore College and Columbia Law School before receiving his degree and starting one of the most unique and successful careers in law for the entertainment industry. Stevens was known for his integrity, wit and devotion to his many high profile clients. More importantly, he was a beloved husband, cherished father, loving brother & grandfather, and a great friend to many lifelong companions. Stevens leaves behind his loving wife Marie; three children, Edward Weiss, Ann Harrison, and Kimberlie Liccardi; his younger devoted brother Fred and his wife, Carol; nieces, nephews, and six grandchildren who loved him so very much. The world is less colorful without this extraordinary man in it. His family wishes to express their deepest thanks to the wonderful staff in the CCU unit of Holy Cross Hospital and his devoted doctors as well as Allie Hall, his compassionate aide and to Sister Kay White of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton's R.C. Church, who nourished his soul until the end. Stevens will be sorely missed at home and abroad but he will never be replaced or forgotten. Honoring his memory, contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Holy Cross Hospital Foundation (954-771-8000), 4725 N. Federal Hwy., Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33308 and/or The Spiritian Foundation for worldwide aid, 1141 Amberst Avenue, Wheaton, MD 90902.

Although his name was Stevens..which indicates a plural... He was one of a kind.. His strength, and knowledge were compounded by his kindness and sincerity..I and my family were blessed to have known him... Yes..he will be missed.. but the many, many memories will forever bring a tear of happiness to my eyes and a sense of pride for the blessing of having him in my and my families lives....

Throughout our lives there are few people that we found to be as loving, kind, entertaining, and down to earth as Stevens. Although he was our neighbor for a short time he will be our friend always.

There has never been a nicer man, a better story teller, or a kinder soul I have had the pleasure of living next to. He can never and will never be forgotten!
