Sue Gastesi Obituary

Sue Gastesi, loving wife and mother passed away peacefully in her home of almost 40 years Saturday, the 24th of October. Born in 1941 in Lima, OH, Sue graduated from Anthony Wayne High School and attended the Ohio State University. Sue had a wonderful marriage with her husband, Roman and they did everything together. Sue and her husband loved to ski and travel but her greatest joy was sailing. She was a member of the Gulfstream Sailing Club where she met many lifelong friends. She is survived by her husband Dr Roman Gastesi, her son Derek Gastesi (Jill), step daughter Ileana Lavender, step son Roman Gastesi, brother in law Raul Gastesi, son in law Joel Lavender, grandchildren Andy, Lauren, Roman, Morgan, Nick, Alec, and Mason. Her cousins Michael, Jeff, and Melinda Charles.In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Humane Society of Broward County. A private personal reception will be held at her home on Saturday, October 31st at 7pm. Friends and family are more than welcome to attend.
