I knew Tom in the late 1970's early 80's via work when he was part of Campbell Shelton and Dyer. I lived just off Las Olas, ate at the Floridian often, and loved their offices. I haven't really been back since coming to Boston and the Harvard Graduate School of Design. I wanted to return but life had other plans for me. Tom was a rare guy with ethics and honesty in Florida real estate in those days. It was shocking for me to discover that friends from Wisconsin who enticed me to Florida were sharks. Tom was the opposite, a truly good person. When I think of Florida my memories always turn to Tom. He was a sweet spot. My sympathies to all particularly his wife who I met only once when they hosted me for dinner. I am sorry we won't meet again.

Margaret and friends,
The news of Tom’s passing hit me particularly hard as Tom was one of my very best friends in my early years in Fort Lauderdale. Tom took me into his house and we were roommates for several years. Tom and I enjoyed many hours playing tennis at Holiday Park, enjoying dinners with friends and cruising the waters of Fort Lauderdale. Tom was instrumental in the planning and opening of our very successful Marina Bay project in 1973 and we spent many wonderful hours there together.
Tom was the best man at my wedding.
Margaret, to my great regret, we have never met. I know Tom loved and adored you. Thanks for making his life so abundant.
