Thomas Richard Clemow Fisher

Thomas Fisher Obituary

Fisher, Thomas Richard Clemow, peacefully passed away on January 9, 2009 in Delray Beach, Florida. Loved dearly by his wife of sixty years Anne; his three children Rick and his wife Barbara, Linda, and Heather and her husband Doug. Grampy is most especially loved by his grandchildren Meghan and Andrew and will be greatly missed by his nephew Bob, Lynne and their family. Formerly of Montreal, Quebec, currently of Boynton Beach, Florida and Mount Hope, Ontario, Tom was an avid sportsman who loved golf, curling and his garden. Tom was a past President of the Canadian Curling Association and was honored as an Emeritus Member of the Governor General's Curling Club of Canada. Tom was also a RCAF Veteran and a graduate of McGill University. His kind generous nature and fabulous sense of humor will be greatly missed but not as much as his love of the color orange. In lieu of flowers, please feel welcome to contribute to the Hospice of Palm Beach County, Bethesda Hospital, Florida. LORNE & SONS FUNERAL HOME, Delray Beach is in charge of arrangements.

Dear Ann- I was so sorry to hear about Tom.I will never forget a visit to your home during an International dinner and hearing all about the curling hall of fame.
I had the pleasure of playing against him as a very young skip and learned the truth of draw weight in your back pocket.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Anne
I will always hold fond memories of Tom in my heart. You were both always so good to me, for which I have never forgotten. I share your sorrow as I lost my beautiful Don last year and it leaves such a void in our lives. My sincere condolences to you, Rick, Linda and Heather.
Affectionately
