Tim Johnson was one of the most important men I have met in my life. I met him back in 1988 when I was a guitar playing singer in a club called Coconuts in Ft Lauderdale. I was in my late thirties and was looking to walk away from the night life and do something serious for a career. Tim believed in me, at a time when I was not believing in myself. He took me from being a lounge musician, to a successful yacht captain and to this day, I still make my living on the water. He was a friend, a tough boss and a great teacher but more than that, I have never seen a guy who had a better touch for big machines. He could captain anything from aircraft to ocean going yachts. He was a real talent and a special man. I loved his laugh, his jokes, his company. R.I.P Tim until I see you again on Fiddler's Green.

Tim was my step father. I met him only 2 and a half years ago but could instantly feel a connection. He was a wonderful man to my mom. She misses him dearly. Although we didnt spend to much time together he was an important part of our family. His death has impacted me more than anyone will ever know. Well, he knows now! Im taking good care of mom and Gizmo Timmy. Hope you are smiling from heaven!
Love you always,
Su <3

I only met Tim for a day. His impact was such i felt like i had know him for ages. What a powerful Soul. Deep, intelligent, it felt like he knew bits of the world i would only dream to see. We shared a great laugh, he intrigued me with his stories and his twinkle in his eye. My thought was, why did i meet this gentleman so late in his life i would have loved to have been his friend. Tim, you were a striking Soul and may you carry on that way out there in the Cosmos. Caroline

"O'er the side ye go, Captain." Although I knew Tim for only a brief time, he impressed me with his quick wit, ready laugh and insightful outlook on all of our varied conversations. I'll miss you old friend. God Bless and put in a good word for the rest of us swabs.
