Alexander-Brown Alexander-Brown, Valerie Born with love on Valentine?s Day, February 14, 1937; passed away with thanks and gratitude on Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 2010. Valerie was born in Port Jervis, New York to Catherine and Louis DiPipi. She graduated as class Valedictorian from Port Jervis High School. She received a Bachelor?s Degree from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA and a Master?s Degree in Education from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL. Valerie taught French and Spanish at Hollywood Hills High School for over thirty years. To her students she was more than a teacher; she was a confidante and mentor. She also took pleasure in chaperoning students on trips throughout Europe. Taking a sabbatical from teaching, she deepened her command of conversational French by living in Paris. Valerie is best known for her love of people. She is survived by her son, Kirk; daughter, Amy; beloved granddaughters, Brooke and Kerry; and siblings, Dolores Muyskens and Marc DiPipi. A memorial service will held at 10:00 a.m. on December 30th at Saint Maurice Church, 2851 Stirling Road, Dania Beach, FL 33312. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G.
