If there are two people I expect to see greeting & welcoming us into heaven at the front gates, it's Vee & Jim. They are two of the most loving and caring people I have ever met. We are blessed to have known them and look forward to seeing them again someday soon.
All our love,

Christina, Thank you so much for letting us know of your Mom's passing. Vee and Jim were caring, loving friends who shared many special moments with our family. Vee was never afraid to stand up for the truth, no matter what. Her faith and love for Jesus and sharing His Word was evident in everything she did. I thank the Lord for bringing both Vee and Jim into our lives. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

Dear Christina, Ed, Kayleigh and Mallory: We are so sorry to hear of your loss. She clearly adored the two of you and your girls. We enjoyed the day we spent with her doing pottery. My girls still talk of her “huge” van and how nice Kayleigh & Mallorys' Grandma was. Your mom was a very special woman. Your family is in our prayers in this time of need. We love you.

Dear Donato, Bonnie & Boys:
Losing a much loved parent is so difficult and must be especially hard since the loss of Vee was so unexpected. You are in our thoughts and prayers as you carry her memory in your hearts.

I met Vee through Jim as I worked with him. She made the best bread at Christmas for all in the offices. I was very blessed to have Jim in my life when I worked at Sears and to have had the pleasure of also visiting with Vee and Jim after his retirement. Vee was a great devoted loving mom, wife and friend. God Bless them both and their families.

I do not have the words to comvey the sentiment I feel for "Mom and Pop" Eassey. I have been truly blessed to have known and to have them be such a large part of my life. Though I was away these dear saints were always close to my heart. I look forward to seeing them again in glory.

Dear Mom and Dad Eassey:
Thank you for all that you have done for me. Your welcoming love of all people, your unshakeable faith and your fearless challenges to injustice and evil are a model for the whole world. You always said you could do “all things through Christ who strengthens me,” and you both proved it true. You truly were “good and faithful servants.”

But most of all, thank you for entrusting me with your daughter, who was your baby. I will always love her. And thank you for my beautiful children, who I would not have if it were not for your example of living out your faith. Wow.

Love Ed

'YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT', Ma Eassey often screamed when she knew we weren't telling her all of the truth. i swear she had eyes all around her head. I know in my heart that her strong will and prayers saved me from myself. She wouldn't rest until we told her our mates were saved and knew Jesus, and if we insist on dating them (after she told us not too) - she insisted on meeting them. (she wanted to tell them about the lord) at first it was embarrasing, than i began to do it as an adult.... like mother like daughter. her wishes and my wishes became one. WE ALL MUST GET TO KNOW JESUS. AND HAVE A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP THAT EVEN DEATH IS A VICTORY.... thank you, for loving me Ma Eassey, your fussing was not in vain... i love you and my extended family with all of my heart.

It is rare in life to feel so loved by someone after just one meeting, but that is what I felt when I met Mrs. Eassey for the first time in the early nineties. I am certain that I am not the only one to experience her generous love. My kids and I will miss her, but our memories of her will last a lifetime. Her children and grandchildren are in our prayers. Thank you for sharing your mother and grandmother with us.

We are so sorry to hearing about the passing of Ms. Eassey. She was truly an incredible woman. I will always remember the times she came to stay with Brett, Derek and Jared while Bonnie & Donato traveled. I would talk to her across the street and she would tell me what she had planned to do that day while the boys were in school....clean the house, have the oil changed in the cars, shopping, cooking, etc. She was so giving of her time and so energetic!!!! I know she will be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

May the passing of Vee be softened by the legacy she left behind. She was a loving mother, a loving grandmother and cared deeply about everyone she ever met. Kazmi and I remember the last time we saw Vee at home. She was so gracious and givng of her time. She will be missed greatly. My thoughts go out to the Eassey family, may your mom be at peace.

Mrs. Eassey or "Grandma Eassey" ....We will miss you for all you did for us and countless others! The "call me anytime you need something" or
"I'm here for you and the kids " was truely a blessing, not only this past summer, but throughout my life. I feel our family was doubly blessed by giving Donato to us. Your sayings and quick wit is forever indelible in our minds and especially in our hearts.

Although I only met your mom a few times on all those occassions she took care of my children in times of need and made them feel comfortable. That was her loving, giving nature towards others you spoke of often. It was obvious how she loved you Christina, Ed, Kayleigh and Mallory. I know how you needed and appreciated her help and I know her guidance will still be with you.

Lean on me when you need a friend.

Love & peace to you all- Jill, Larry, Judah, Miyah Lebofsky

Dear Christina, Ed, Kayleigh and Mallory (and all the Eassey family),

We are so sad at the sudden passing of your Mom. She was a warm and loving woman. She was loved a lot by many but we also know how much she loved each of you. We are glad to have known her and happy that our beautiful nieces (K&M) had such a loving relationship with their "Sitto".

If you need anything or need just to talk, please call us!

Love, Bonnie & Tom Douglas

Dear Mom, I know you are where you wanted to be, but my heart is so heavy with sadness that you are no longer here. Yes, we had our moments were we disagreed but I know you loved me unconditional as I loved you. You being my mom was a perfect match. You had the gift of hospitality one which I hope to carry on and share with the girls. You were so instrumental in letting me follow my dreams. You also said "can't" wasn't a real word. I needed you and Daddy longer. How I wish I could bring you both back. How I wanted the girls to grow up knowing you both as well as I did. I know it was no coincidence that you and Daddy died the same day 5 years apart. You are together again. I love you more than I can ever communicate. My heart is hurting so. Your loving daughter, Christy

Missing her does not even begin to express my sorrow of Mom's untimely departure. But she is exactly where shed wanted to be. God Bless. The overwhelming support and outpouring of mom’s extended family is a true testament of her love of our Lord Jesus and to how so many lives she had such a positive impact on, is truly humbling, and provides much comfort.
