Warren Ricker Obituary

Ricker, Warren J., 85, of Pompano Beach, FL, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2006. ?Warren was born in Jersey City, NJ on March 11,1921, to Louis and Anna Ricker. He ?graduated from New York University and proudly served his country in the United States Navy Air Corps during WWII. He worked as an FBI Agent for 27 years, and, upon retirement, went to work for the ?Florida Bar Association. He has served two terms as Chairman for the Boca Raton ?Chapter of the Ex FBI Agents, and was ?currently serving as Secretary of the same organization. He was a member of the ?Masons, Continental Lodge # 287, Knights of Templar and Shriners for more than 55 years for each, and was an active member of St. Gregory Episcopal Church in Boca Raton. Warren is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mary Lou; children, Peter Ricker and Thomas Ricker; grandchildren, Andrea Wood Ricker, James Warren Ricker, Ami Helen Ricker, Stephanie Robeson and Kyle ?Robeson; and friends. There will be a memorial service at St. Gregory Episcopal Church, 100 NE Mimer Blvd.,Boca Raton, at 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 18th. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either St. Laurence Chapel: Caring Center for people that are homeless, 1698 Blount Road, Pompano Bch., FL 33069, or to St. Gregory Episcopal Church.
