Werner Leimgruber Obituary

Werner R Leimgruber, 100 years old, of Sea Ranch Club, Boca Raton FL, died July 15, 2016. He was born to Robert and Marie Leimgruber, February 13, 1916 in Zurich, Switzerland. He was president of Spinnerin Yarn in Hackensack, NJ and later of Pharr Yarn Sales in NYC. Werner was predeceased by Vera Mae (Cimarik) Leimgruber, his beloved wife of 53 years. They lived in Tenafly and Alpine, NJ and Boca Raton, FL. Werner is survived by 5 children, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and his youngest brother Ernst Marc Leimgruber of Switzerland. Werner leaves a legacy of integrity, honesty, generosity and a deep abiding relationship with his Savior, Jesus Christ. Visitation July 20, 10:00am; funeral service 11:00am at Babione-Kraeer Funeral Home in Boca Raton, FL. We are so thankful for the blessing of your Dad's life - and for the fact that he stayed healthy and alert for all those years! We also thank you for giving us the opportunity on his 100th birthday to directly tell HIM all the wonderful things we appreciated about him - while he could still understand them. We are with you today in our thoughts and prayers, with strong mixed emotions of sadness and joy. Uncle Werner has "graduated" with honors!!!!! May the Lord grant us ALL the grace to persevere and stay as faithful as he did. What a wonderful example he was!!!

Dear Family, You are in our thoughts ever since we heard of your father's passing, and we are praying for you all. I always had a great admiration for your dad, loved hearing him talk and share, and his great ability for music, playing piano and more... I appreciated him and your mother as our friends, and also looked up to them as wonderful examples of their faith in the Lord. I am especially remembering the blessing we had about two years ago, when we had the opportunity to visit him and Jeff, over a lunch his home. He honored us with playing the piano...
