Florence "Sally" R. (Pilliod) Lenfestey, 89, lifelong resident of Swanton, passed away peacefully, Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021, at her daughter's home, surrounded by her loving family. Sally was born June 8, 1931, in Swanton to the late Norbert and Ann (Jungwirth) Pilliod. She married Wayne LeRoy Lenfestey of Delta on Dec. 29, 1951, and he preceded her in death.
She was a 1949 graduate of Swanton High School. Together, she and Wayne raised six wonderful children. Sally loved the outdoors, working in her yard, and feeding the birds. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Gary Lenfestey, Sandy (Kevin) Keogh, Steve Lenfestey, and Peggy (Mark) Green; nine grandchildren, Erin Lenfestey, Jeff (Elise) Lenfestey, Samantha Lenfestey, Adam (Bridget) Sadowski, Eric (Emily) Sadowski, Ashley (Chance) Sparks, Mitchell (Erika) Keogh, Tyler (Sucheta) Green, and Courtney (Jordan) Newbury; seven great-grandchildren; her brother, Fred (Laura) Pilliod; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sally was also preceded in death by her son, Douglas Lenfestey; daughter, Ann Sadowski; sister, Marge Najarian; and her brother, Bob Pilliod.
Services for Sally will be private.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Lenfestey family. I have so many happy childhood memories of the family when they lived in Toledo and visiting in Swanton. Your Mom was a Great lady and left your with decades of memories♡
