Gary Watson Obituary

Gary Don Watson, age 67, passed away on December 29, 2022 at his residence in Sweetwater, Texas
Visitation will be from 5 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. on Friday at McCoy Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at McCoy Chapel of Memories on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 2:00 pm with Bro. J.T. Thornton and Matt McGowen officiating. Interment will follow at Newman Cemetery, in Fisher County, under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home. Gary was born on June 3, 1955 in Sweetwater, Texas to Lloyd and Anita Watson. Gary married Teresa McFaul Porter on May 13, 2005 in Elko, Nevada. His Grandchildren were the joy of his life, he spent as much time as possible being their biggest fan and best friend. Gary was a longtime employee of Sweetwater Electric Supply and Sweetwater EC&M. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Sweetwater. Gary is now rejoicing in heaven with his parents, Lloyd and Anita Watson, his brother James Watson and granddaughter Harper Grace Langley who all preceded him in death. He will be so missed by his wife, Teresa, daughter Lacy Watson (Andrew Teel) of Sweetwater, son Kevin Watson of Sweetwater, daughter Stephanie Smith (Travis) of Roscoe and daughter Tonya Langley (Blake) of Whitehouse, his grandchildren, Jacoby Watson, Jenna Watson, Brock Teel, Phoenix Walker, Ryder and Ridge Smith and Grayson and Olivia Langley along with numerous nephews, nieces and extended family and friends .Pallbearers will be Steve Mahaffey, Shane Baxter, Aubrey Crowley, Larry Reed, Brandon Watson, Patrick Watson and Matt Ornelas. Honorary Pallbearers will be Arthur Ray Boyd, Billy Whisenant, and Dale White.
