Jesse Palacios Obituary

Sweetwater- Jesse Stahlhofen Palacios, 46, died Friday, July 15, 2016 in a local hospital.
Rosary was held at 6 p.m. Sunday, July 17th at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Sweetwater. Memorial services were at 12 p.m. Monday, July 18 at El Calvario Baptist Church in Colorado City, Texas. Arrangements were by Starbuck Funeral Home of Merkel.
Jesse was born February 23, 1970 in Sweetwater, Texas to Marianne K. (Stahlhofen) and Cruz Torres Palacios. He graduated from Sweetwater High School in 1989 and also from Southeast Oklahoma University. Jesse played professional football for the New York Giants. He currently worked for Ludlum Industries. He was a gentle giant always seeing the good in people.
Survivors include his wife, Brandy Palacios of Sweetwater; sons, Jesse Palacios II of Plano and Jacob Tucker of Sweetwater; daughter, Chloe Tucker of Sweetwater; siblings, Cruz Palacios Jr. of Sweetwater, Marianne Anders and husband Billy of Abilene, Anita Reyna and husband Sammy of Big Spring, Tina Rodriguez and husband Sammy of Big Spring, Louis Palacios Sr. and wife Lisa of Sweetwater, Nick Palacios and wife Melissa of Colorado City, Moses Palacios and wife Joanna of Mesquite; and fifty-nine nieces and nephews and one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cruz Sr. and Marianne Palacios; brother, Tony Palacios; sister, Terry Palacios; and nephew, Anthony Palacios.

I just heard of Jesse's passing. I apologize for missing his funeral. I have a lot of great memories of him.
My favorite memory is listening to Jesse and Kenneth Norman smack talking each other on our way to play football in Pecos our senior year. It was a very colorful exchange! I hate that I lost touch with him! Rest in peace, Big Man...
