Larry Clements Obituary

Larry John Clements, 66, of Roscoe passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Hendrick Hospice Care in Abilene. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 20, 2022 at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Rev. David Draper officiating. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home. A family and friends visitation will be from 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home. Larry was born April 12, 1956 in Midland, Texas to the late Walter Lee (Buddy) and Doris Katherine (Henderson) Clements. He was a graduate of Roscoe High School, graduate of Tarleton State University with a degree in Agri- Business and worked as a Government Loan Specialist for the USDA. Larry moved back to Roscoe in 2013 from Hawley, Texas and enjoyed his hobbies of shooting guns, working on cars and was a member of the American Legion. He is survived by his children; John Clements of Abilene, Daniel Casey of Mansfield, Anna McDonald and husband Damion of Carrolton, Texas, brother; Jacky Clements and wife Betty of Batesville, Arkansas, sister-in-law; Barbara Clements, grandchildren; Samuel Armendariz of McKinney and DeAunna Whitson and husband Adam of Dallas. Larry is also survived by his nieces and other family and friends. He is also preceded in death by his brother Walter Lee Clements III. Pallbearers will be John Clements, Daniel Casey, Damion McDonald and Samuel Armendariz. Online condolences may be expressed at www.mccoyfh.com.
