Gracie Alice Allen78,of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away peacefully into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father Saturday , January 9, 2021. She was born February 18,1942 in Los Angeles, California to Bethel and Fannie Mills.She was a member of For His Glory Church. Gracie sold Avon approximately 40 years. She held many positions, Rose Circle, Honors Society, President's Club, and received numerous awards. She also was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. She held offices in local and state of president, and many other offices. She worked for Sparks and Trane cafeteria as a cook, owned Gracie's Restaurant and worked at Garrison Furniture Factory. She was preceded in death by her husband Elzie Allen. She is survived by her children Martha Campbell (John), Patricia Bagley, (Arby Caraway), Douglas Crabtree, Doyle Crabtree (Karen), seven grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, sisters Lucy Vaughn(Raymond), Peggy West and many nieces and nephews. She was cared for by her nephew Michael Vaughn. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 25 at 10:00 AM at Lewis Funeral Chapel 4817 Kelley Hwy, Fort Smith, Arkansas. Viewing will be Sunday, January 24 from 8 am- 4 pm at the funeral home with family present from 1:00-4:00 PM on Sunday.

She was a good grandma to me my cousins and everyone she knew. I can't describe her at all she was just all of the above, nice, funny, amazing, everything. She fit in every single category in my eyes she will always be remembered as a describable grandma I love you grandma and may you Rest in Peace, and be in heaven with the Lord. You will always will be in my heart. Thank you for everything you have done for me.
