Madilynn Moreland Obituary
Service for Madilynn "Madi-Cate" Cate Moreland, 6, of Muldrow will be at 10 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2019, at First Baptist Church in Fort Smith. Burial will follow at Cottonwood Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Service.
She was born May 31, 2012, in Tahlequah, Okla., the daughter of Tranesa LeeAnne (Lowder) Moreland and Paul Henry Moreland and passed away March 13, 2019, in Tulsa. Madi-Cate was a first grade student at Liberty Elementary School. She loved basketball, ballet, fishing, school and Shopkins. She was her momma's baby and her daddy's princess.
Survivors are her parents, Tranesa and Paul "Shorty" Moreland; brother, Kyle Moreland and wife Whitney of Sallisaw; two sisters, Tracey Tippetts and fiancé Keifer Lang of Muldrow and Jenna Duty and companion Jesse Young of Muldrow; niece, Kopelynn Lang of Muldrow; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends; her extra special "Jinger," Martha Tippetts Olsen of Muldrow; and her four-legged companions, Rose and Karlee.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Hannah Moreland; and grandmothers, Darla Lowder and Cathy Hyatt.
Active pallbearers will be Tommy Sessums, David Goode, Buddy Harmon, Don Hyatt, Rocky Woods Jr. and Roger Johnson.
Honorary pallbearers are Sammy Marr, Greg Peters, Michael Stout, Todd Pennington, Eugene Moreland, Keifer Lang, Jesse Young and all fellow students and staff at Liberty Public Schools.
Viewing will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Agent Mallory-Martin Chapel in Muldrow, where the family will greet from 4-6 p.m. Sunday.

I have followed the journey of your precious daughter. My son was diagnosed with JMML (leukemia) right before Madi was diagnosed.
I just want you to know that we will continue our fight with Madi forever in our hearts.
